How to transfer legendary powers in Diablo 4
Let's say you found an awesome legendary sword, with great legendary power, for example:
- Rapid: Basic Skills gain 30% Attack Speed
But, the stats on this sword are really not that great. In Diablo 4 you have an ability to extract this great legendary power into an aspect and transfer it to another weapon with much better stats!
Of course, if you find a great legendary item with excellent stats, but average power, you can also replace this power with a better one, once you found and extracted the power from another legendary item. If you imprint a rare item, it becomes a legendary item, and if you imprint a legendary item, it overwrites the existing aspect gaining the new effect. Apart from extracting aspects from legendary items, you can also find aspects from the Codex of Power.
Keep in mind that there are restrictions on where you can imprint certain legendary powers. For example, you can imprint an offensive power only to gloves, weapons and jewellery. Additionally, some slots will give the power additional Effectiveness, making it even stronger. This means, your best offensive legendary power should go a two-handed weapon as it provides +100% Effectiveness.
